Who do we want to consult?
Waterways Ireland is interested in obtaining comments from everyone.
Waterways Ireland is committed to promoting quality of opportunity between the followings groups:

When is this consultation taking place? |

Public consultation on this paper will last for an eight week period beginning 24 October 2005 until 16 December 2005.
Waterways Ireland welcomes any comments, enquiries and feedback, as well as requests for meetings to discuss the paper.

How we will consult? |
|
Equality scheme consultation will consist of:
- Written request for responses to stakeholders and target groups.
- Public press advertisement.
- An e-consultation exercise in partnership with a research project into users of e-consultation by Queens University, Belfast; and Maynooth and Letterkenny Colleges.
- One to one consultation meetings.

How you can get involved? |

We are happy to accept responses in a variety of formats including:
- In any written form, ie letters, papers, fax, etc.
- By e-mail to dawn.livingstone@waterwaysireland.org
- As part of the e-consultation exercise.
- By requesting a one-to-one meeting.
- Any other method which can be reasonable accommodated.

What next after the consultation period ends? |
|
On completion of the consultation exercise Waterways Ireland will consider all feedback received and publish a finalised Equality Impact Assessment programme detailing the changes and feedback received. This revised document will be available in February 2006 and will be circulated to all respondents and any consultees indicating an interest.
